Emotion. It's one of my favorite aspects of photography. What draws you to a photograph? There's not just one answer to this question. Human response to photography is entirely subjective. I venture to say that every photograph that you truly enjoy evokes in you some sort of emotion.
Many times, it is the simplest photographs that can make us feel an emotional response. And the most beautiful part of this is that every individual viewer can experience a different emotional response, ripe with his/her own experience. It's subjective. It's emotive. And I love it.
Black and white photography provides a level of simplicity that is just so beautiful; it gives me a sense of calmness and quiet. It simplifies things visually, while creating so much more emotionally.
